59th Street Bridge Mittens

These mittens are the perfect knitterly companion to the 59th Street Bridge Socks. Sized for pretty much everyone you know, you’ll be feelin’ particulary groovy as you  knit up a gaggle of them.

Gauge  25 sts and 39 rounds = 4” (10cm) over stockinette stitch, measured after blocking.  30 sts = 4” (10cm) over pattern stitch measured after blocking.

Size/finished measurements  Sizes  Child Teensy (1-2 years), Child Small (3-4 years), Child Medium (5-7 years), Child Large (8-12 years)/Adult Extra Small, Adult Small, Adult Medium, Adult Large, Adult Extra Large.  When in doubt, choose the size closest to your actual hand circumference.  finished measurements.

Finished measurements  Circumference at palm: 4.75 (5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5)”.  Length of mitten, from cuff to tip: 5.75 (7.25, 8, 8.75, 9, 9.5, 10, 11)”, or sized to fit hand.
