2 in 1 snood and hat

I’ve created a pattern for a snood/cowl that can not only be worn round your neck but you can turn it into a hat too! You can wear the hat as a messy bun beanie with your hair up peeking through the hole at the top. You can also close up the hole at the top completely and wear it as a traditional chunky beanie.

The circumference of this snood is 53cm/21in, the height is 20cm/8in. It fits adult women or teenage girls but this design becomes unisex when you choose perhaps a darker colour and you can make it for men too.

I’ve used roughly 240-280 metres of chunky/bulky/12-ply yarn using 5.5mm hook.
