Materials required: One pair UK size 14/2.00 mm/US size 00 knitting needles, 1 x 20g ball of No 20 crochet cotton (1-ply cotton may be substituted for No 20 crochet cotton to give a thinner and more open lace), optional - 20 cm/8-inch (approx) square of contrast coloured cotton backing material to cover bedding under bedspread, this helps to show off the lace.
