Product Details
Willow & Lark's new tweed DK is a deliciously cosy, super soft rustic tweed that knits up beautifully on a 4mm needle. It's a plump DK that is hardy enough for favourite jumpers and hardworking scarves and hats, but soft enough to wear next to the skin. Willow & Lark Heath is inspired by walks in the countryside, reflected in ten rich earthy tones flecked through with neps that give a fabulous depth and contrast.

Works up really nicely and very easy to work with.
Knits up well, soft but firm texture.
This is lovely yarn. It knits up beautifully and feels lovely to the touch. I can't comment as to washability as I haven't finished the garment yet. I am making a long hooded cardigan Julie by Patons
Perfect for the job!! Personally I like 100% wool but wanted to knit a sweater for someone who prefers a combination of fibres, particularly because of ease of laundering. I chose Willow and Lark Heath and am super pleased 😀 It's 50% wool, 39% acrylic and 11% viscose . . a wonderful combination for softness, washability and drape. It's soft, beautiful to knit with and has a lovely fleck of various colours within the main colour. I chose number 9, seaglass, and it's a lovely soft greyish blue. Plus . . pricing is very competitive . . 😄 I couldn't be more pleased with this yarn. I see that Willow and Lark do offer a 100% wool yarn (ramble) and I will certainly try that in the future.
Wool was great to knit with but not worth £6.75 for a 50g ball
The yarn is very soft. I have only just started knitting with it and it’s knitting up well. Very pleased with it so far.
Colour not as expected - too ‘dirty’ a red for the name given, and too few keeps on the yarn. Also had trouble getting it to knit to the stated tension. However previous orders of such as Ramble have been really good and knits up well
