Crocheting a cardigan for my husband with this yarn, never lets me down it doesn’t shred, lovely and soft and washes so well.
Brought at a good price in the sale. Nice and soft seems like good quality to knit with. Have not yet finished the jumper yet as a rather slow knitter. Colour choice is great bright the emu aran wool.

Overall I’ve been happy with the quality and colour of this yarn. I’ve used it in the past and find it knits up well and I can wash the garment in the machine. For the price it’s very satisfactory.

I recently purchased 3 skeins of Stylecraft Special Aran in the color Parchment to complete a project. Since it had been a few years, and knowing the dyelot would be different, I expected a slight color variation, which there was. What I did not expect was a yarn with different properties. The new yarn I isn’t as soft, is prone to splitting, and does not have the same sheen. It feels like a completely different yarn, one that I do not like. I will not be purchasing it again.
