What is Being Made

Sprinkles is a top-down knitted waistcoat (vest) designed for babies and young children. The pattern includes five size options ranging from Newborn through 4 years old, with chest measurements from 16 inches (40 cm) for Newborn/3 months up to 23 inches (58 cm) for 4 years. • Needles: Circular needles in 4.5 mm size (or size needed to achieve gauge) for smaller sizes, and 6 mm circular needles (approximately 1.5 mm larger than gauge needles) for larger sizes. Double-pointed needles in the same sizes are needed if not using magic loop for sleeve construction.
• Notions: Four stitch markers for tracking pattern repeats and shaping, plus 2 buttons for finishing.
