This dress is knitted top down seamlessly. The yoke is first knitted flat with a beautiful leaf lace to create button bands, then joined to work in the round. The dress can be worn in warm weather on its own or in cooler weather with a top underneath. Dresses which are knit top down can start as a dress become a tunic and then a top while the little girl is growing. The dress is finished quickly because it is seamless and knitted in stockinette stitch in the round.
