Product Description
A lovely easy knitting pattern for a traditional baby blanket. Ideal for a beginner knitter and perfect for a baby shower gift.
This pattern features a classic 'basket-weave' design with chunky textured borders. It is perfect for baby's first blanket to keep snug in a pram, moses basket, bouncy chair or carrycot.
The pattern is fully reversible and can be knitted in two different sizes: Square: 75cm x 75cm / 30" x 30". Rectangle: 75cm x 100cm / 30" x 40".
The download also contains two versions of the pattern: Knit in one piece on a single circular needle or in three pieces on straight needles.
NEEDLES: 6mm/US size 10 needles. Either 33cm/13" straight needles (three piece blanket) or an 80cm/30" circular (one piece blanket).
CHUNKY YARN: 480m /530m. Images use DMC XL Natura.
