This hat is so easy to make. I’ve made 4 so far for my family and being asked by others to make one for them. I did change the crochet cherry for a Pom Pom which I think looks better.

This is not a toy.
This uses US terms and is suitable for advanced beginners.
As well as the written pattern, there is a YouTube tutorial available to guide you through making the Holly Sprig.
Materials:
4mm hook
Yarn: Double Knit yarn in white and brown for the hat and green and red for the Holly and Berry Sprig. The yardage depends on the hat size chosen but less than half a ball is used in all cases.

Baby Xmas pud.
I only purchased the pattern this time as had Paintbox wool left over. The pattern was easy to follow and quick to do..I found a different holly leaf pattern as felt the original leaf was a bit big for the new born babies hat.
