Product Description
Light and graceful - lace and garter stitches combine to create a lovely cardigan for spring. Slip stitches accent the garter stitch hem and cuffs, and I-cord finishes the elegant neck band.
FINISHED BUST: 34½ (37, 39, 41½, 44)(46, 48½, 50½, 53)", based on twice finished back measurement. Fronts open at center approx 1¾ (1¾, 2, 2¼, 1¾)(2, 2, 1¾, 1¾)". Intended to be worn with 2-4" of ease.
CONSTRUCTION: Fronts and back are knit separately from the bottom up and shoulders are joined with 3-needle bind off. Modified drop sleeves are knit from the bottom up and sewn into the armholes. Stitches are picked up for the garter stitch collar band, which is finished with an I-cord bind off. Sides and underarms are seamed.
SKILLS: Long tail cast on, knitted cast on, I-cord bind off, 3-needle bind off, simple lace, and m1 increases.
