Anchor Linen is a premium embroidery thread made from 100% natural linen. It is derived from the Flax plant (Linum usitatissimum) one of the oldest cultivated plants in the world. The fibres, taken from the stem are naturally long, straight, and smooth which gives linen is distinct texture. Anchor Linen has an adaptable 6-strand construction which can be divided into finer thread and used for blending colours. It offers a natural finish with a soft yet rustic appeal, and it is pleasing to work with.
