This semi-fitted top is worked from the neck down with gentle shaping below the waist for a figure skimming, flattering fit. Brimming with delicate lacy shells, this feminine piece is equally beautiful as a cropped top or tunic, with the sleeves three-quarter, slightly flared or short – the choice is yours.
Skill Level: Advanced Intermediate Pattern includes both charts and written instructions.
Note: This top with its open lace pattern allows for stretch as well as more fitted style. For instance, the S/M size shown, modeled semi-fitted with 3" negative ease, can comfortably accommodate bust size up to 38" for a sleek fitted-style.

Perhaps note if pattern is in US or UK crochet terms?
The pattern, at least as far as I have reached, is good although it's in US terms which means I have to think a bit more and correct myself now and then as I process in UK terms most of the time. I'm thus finding it easier to follow the charts. I haven't split for the arms/body yet, I may get to that tonight or tomorrow, but it looks OK. It is certainly coming out pretty!

I’m working this top now. I’ve found it to be a little confusing to me. I asked help from a fellow crafter. And I think we’ve figured it out. I’ll know better when I’m closer to being finished.
