Wrap with Love, warm the world

Since their beginnings in 1992, the not for profit organisation, Wrap with Love has been on a mission to help warm up the country with hand-knitted, crocheted, and sewn wraps. With over 425,000 people both Australia-wide and beyond wrapped up with love so far, we couldn’t be more impressed if we tried!

What can you knit, crochet, or sew?

Like the 25,000 volunteers who have volunteered their yarn and time so far, you can help too! Wrap with Love collect both squares for wraps, along with completed wraps that can be knitted, crocheted, or lined patchwork. Individual squares are to measure 25cm x 25cm (10 inches x 10 inches) and completed wraps are to be made up of 28 of these squares measuring 100cm x 175 cm (40 inches x 70 inches) when finished. They have plenty of free knitting patterns for you to use, too!

So what are you waiting for? Get your crochet hooks and knitting needles at the ready and help Wrap with Love warm the world.

Where can you send them?

The Wrap with Love headquarters is located in Sydney, which is where they receive wraps and squares from all over to sort, pack, and distribute to those in need. You can post wraps, any yarn you’d like to donate, and squares to:

Wrap with Love
Post Office Box 10,
Rosebery,
NSW

Or deliver in person (on Wednesdays and Fridays, 10.30 am to 2.30 pm) to:

Unit 4, 4 Huntley Street,
Alexandria,
NSW
