My Mum taught me when I was 7;...a long time ago but I only knitted a couple of jumpers in my 40’s when my neighbour could get me out of frequent messes . I’m more of a sewer but about 8 years ago I was looking for a knitted baby blanket on Etsy for a friend and the best we’re cashmere and very expensive so I thought I’d do one myself discovered cashmerino and now I love doing it for my grandaughter mostly but odd things for me .Im getting neater and can read whilst knitting if it’s plain . Result !
