Julchen Knits

Hi! I’m Anja, the designer behind JulchenKnits. I trained as a tailor in my native Germany and now work as Art teacher in a public school on the West coast of Ireland. What I like most about knitting is that I learn something new every day. Each one of my designs is individual and starts from research and sketching to sample knitting, writing, frogging and re-designing… and I might invent some stitches and construction techniques along the way. I can get inspired by everything and anything, but mostly by my students and by visual art, so please get in touch at any time to ask questions, suggest ideas, commission, Collab, or simply to chat.
