Bubba!
Saw this chap and fell in love with him. For some reason I don't think he turned out quite the way he should and not keen on his hairless ears, think he could be a lion cub and sometimes even a monkey. I think the wool was the wrong choice even though it was recommended by this site. Still he's quite cute and turned out better than I imagined

He's lovely. I'm not seeing a lion or monkey but a sweet bear. Ears, positioning of ears makes all the difference :)

@Sue J: It's hard to find, Lovecraft used to do a nice one Schachenmayr Brazilia but I see they've not renewed it. Yarn Paradise in Turkey do lovely eyelash yarns but the shipping has got so expensive now. Hobbi have a nice one by Go Handmade called Couture. Other than those haunt Ebay lol

@Sue J: What eyelash yarn do you recommend? X

@Pat A: Pat, I think ears are one of the hardest thing to place with furry yarn. It seems distract from you from where you would normally place them and they're murder to sew without seeing the stitches. Which yarn did you use for the baby bear then? X

@Sue J: Ah is it tinsel yarn. It's a shame that a lot of choices of eyelash yarns are no longer available. There is King Cole Moments, but it's only a double knit so produces a smaller bear. In a lot of my newer patterns I have been putting in ear markers just because I often have this problem of placing ears, sometimes they never behave do they?

I knew straightaway that it was baby bear but I've made it a few times so I recognised his cute face. I've not made the clothes though and I love the sweater and nappy. 😀
