I've been so behind with any posting recently, when did summer get so busy! I know there are many people love Schnauzers so I really wanted to share this one. All these yarns have been in my stash for years so very pleased to use up 100grams. The velour is a tricky yarn to work with it's a bit like chenille difficult to control the tension. It also stretches for ever even when knitted on a small needle so creating a fat puppy was no problem. The result has made it all worthwhile though. The pattern is a Claire Garland from her Domestica course.

Ohhh absolute perfection Christine you have got the schnauzer expression so realistic.!! The 3rd picture down where he is snuggled down in bed made me go "ohh". I have been waiting and waiting for you to make another schnauzer as I still remember when you made them years ago. The yarn is perfect too. Love him.
