Got the yarn earlier this year. Got the pattern as a £1 download a few weeks ago. Having been looking forward to starting. But pattern calls for 3.5 mm needles. No shops open during lock down, so I’ve decided to risk it on the 3.75 mm and make adjustments as it goes. Size adjustments made First body section 14.5 cm instead of 16 cm. Rib section 4.4 cm instead of 4 cm. Left and right fronts to neck 28.6 cm instead of 26 cm. Sleeves .. started sleeve cap at 21 cm instead of 19 cm. Adjustments to size worked out okay, but it’s obviously for a slightly bigger baby now! Instead of the hood, I did a 5 line neck band of the band pattern. Unexpectedly, this yielded a roll down collar which is lovely. I don’t like the garter stitch section at bottom on the jacket. I love the button band. I made real buttonholes using yarn overs. I did this on the ws to make it easier to see what I was doing. I will make again, but on the right needles with a lighter weight yarn.
