"I made this for my grandson, aged nearly 3"

I loved doing this project although it took me quite a while! The DB cashmerino is great to knit with and has good stitch definition. The stripes in ribbing was new to me and the method of knitting the first row in a colour change made it look great. The only thing was.....I decided not to use poppers up the front but do buttons and buttonholes and found it difficult to site the positions accurately.

I was looking at this pattern this week to knit for my grandson. I am put off by the poppers but you have made it work with buttons. I might give it a try and see if I can do the same. Well done you.
