I've knit this twice already - for both of my sisters. The pattern is beautiful, unique, architectural and is perfect for layering over t-shirts, denim shirts, silk shirts or a camisole or dress.

Thanks Dana V. The yarn is a very deep charcoal grey and not purple at all! I am currently working on Norah Gaughan's Counterpane (created for Brooklyn Tweed). It's a masterpiece of a pattern and quite challenging to knit. It's rated as an 'advanced intermediate' pattern - but I would call it advanced. It's an incredible jigsaw puzzle made of squares and triangles - you should check it out. Can I ask what you are knitting now?
Very nicely done, indeed! I love Norah Gaughan's work. She's an architect at heart, I think! I like your color choice, though on my computer monitor, I'm probably not seeing it correctly. It reads as a deep musky grape, but is probably more of a charcoal grey? My monitor is calibrated at far too cool a color setting, and I can't change it. It drives me completely berserk since I'm something of a color fanatic!
