I have no idea what foundation paper piecing is, but it looks beautiful!
Thank you FPP involves having the pattern of whatever shapes you are using on paper then sewing along the lines on the paper with fabric underneath. (If that makes sense!) It gives greater accuracy than regular piecing & you can use very tiny pieces to give the patchwork more complexity.

It's amazing! You should definitely do more Susan! It's got so much texture, almost 3D. I've also got hooked on FPP but do it using vieline rather than paper. I'm doing some challenging cats ATM 😬

Thank you Jane. It’s a great technique isn’t it. The only drawback I found was after removing all the paper I trailed bits of it round the house for days! 😄 Are you doing FPP cats? I would love to see them. I have just started Dogs in Sweaters!
