Festive Tomte Gnome
I saw this pattern beautifully knitted by Karen P and just had to try it! It was quick to knit. I used yarns from my stash for once! I thought the first beard I knitted was too dark so I changed it for a light grey one, decisions, decisions!

They're both fabulous Dianne. I think like the dark beard, I like your kitchen too! 😀

Love this, so cute!

Love his new beard! Have you started your second yet?!

Ohh I like the lighter beard too Dianne,I think you will have to make another body and you can 2 wee gnomes with one light beard and one dark.lol.😊😊❤

Love your gnome, he looks easy especially using up stash yarn of which I can't get at currently as all in boxes as we have moved house, I have a lot so not buying any extra as I had far too much to move and did not realise until it had to be boxed which will have to stay until we buy our next house.

What a brilliant Christmas decoration, Dianne. Makes you smile instantly! Beautifully made. Well done for using your stash. I vow I won't buy any more yarn but end up ordering! Too tempting to buy extra online. 🙄

He’s fab, Dianne💕 I love the colours & well done for using some stash yarn ! Like most of us, our stash isn’t really for using, its a comfort blanket 😜, to cheer us up💕

He looks perfect Dianne! I love the shade of red you have used (and looking at the yarns you used, the yarn for the hat for my second one is the same, so no wonder I like it!) And yes it’s great to use up your stash. I am just about to finish my second, which is for my daughter and I’m using the leftovers from her blanket so they match!

It's lovely Dianne. It's good to do a quick knit too. I got this pattern after seeing the one posted. I debated whether to do this one or the Christmas Elf. Unfortunately, I started the Christmas Elf knit in the round. I have been on for hours and haven't even finished the body and its only 4 inches high. What a nightmare! I don't know why I perservered I should have just given up! You know that saying "I'd rather poke my eye out with a knitting needle" well I would have if I could have decided which one to use lol. I will only finish it if I can work out how to knit the rest of it on two needles. If not it is going to be consigned to the bottom of my knitting bag. I am definitely going to knit this one they are so cute.

Ohh wow Dianne, who's the speedy knitter now.lol.😊😊I love him the colours are perfect together and look at his beard and who was a good girl using up her stash.😊😊 I have just started the hat and am doing it in teddy wool so taking ages.lol.😊
