My teenage niece was desperate for me to make her a crochet Miffy, so I checked out the many patterns online. I finally came across this great one on YouTube from Meowmeowcrafts. A really good pattern and an excellent online tutorial: https://youtu.be/pKSSXCG1cjA?si=q5dTBTzixVer63qg Rather than using the finer yarn suggested in the pattern, I used Cotton Aran and a 5mm hook for a larger version. It scaled up fine, apart from he fact that the head came out a bit large for the body - no idea why. So I remade the head leaving out a couple of rows (18 & 19) which worked much better. I love the dress which is part of the tutorial - great little pattern. As a finishing touch I created a little bag with a tulip on it - reflecting Miffy's Dutch roots.
