These lovely buttons were a Christmas gift and they are a perfect match for the taupe heather yarn. Sometimes heather yarn doesn't look very heathered, but this does, and it is so pretty. Also very soft and light as a feather. I used stitch counts for size 18 months, but smaller needles and this will fit a 12 month old. I added some rows of colorwork with the sky blue because I was running out of taupe (had 8 whole inches left at the end). This is a very easy pattern and it knit up quickly.
