I wanted to learn brioche knitting and I love trees so I saw this and got excited! I loved knitting this hat but it was a bit of an ambitious project for someone who has never tried brioche before, let alone two colour brioche with a complex pattern. My trees don’t look quite like they should as I made quite a few mistakes (and turns out it is harder to correct mistakes in brioche than in, say, cable) but I have decided they are just blowing in the wind and growing a bit unruly on my hat haha. Can’t wait to try another of these patterns, will make a great present for a friend on their birthday :)
