This is for a baby girl due in a few months time. Pattern instructs to 'push hole' in garment to make the button holes. Instead, I knitted a button hole on one side and attached a dome inside of the garment for the other side and then sewed on a matching button to the outside front. Also added a flower and a hat. Very quick knit.

Your cardi looks lovely! I'm making this atm but the pattern is hard to interpret and I'm not novice! Even the back of the neck looks wrong on mine!
