I’m enjoying going between knitting and cross stitch at the moment. This was the first cross stitch kit I ever bought and I gave up the first time I started it. After doing a couple of easier ones I had another go and finally succeeded. It took three months to complete. It was amazing watching it take shape and the fox seemed to appear from nowhere. There were 26 different colours of thread which was quite challenging, especially all the different shades of brown in the fox. There was a lot of backstitching, the fox’s whiskers and round the foxgloves which was a bit of a nightmare but it does bring it to life. I framed it myself with an inexpensive frame from Amazon and I think it’s ok.

I love this Dianne, I missed it when you first posted but I lost a few people from my list when LK made some strange changes a while ago. I just love the colours and the look of the fox and foxgloves. I bet it looks amazing close up you must be thrilled with it.
This is really beautiful Dianne. Don’t know how I missed it. The work you have put in is stunning and the finished product a work of art. The fox looks almost lifelike sitting there sniffing the air. I love all the details you have given about the process and what is involved. VERY impressive. 🤩
Ooh Dianne I've just came across this and it looks amazing in its frame. I'm still doing the backstitch (it's a nightmare but nearly done) hopefully it'll look as good as yours does 😊 well done
I just went through the comments Dianne and my one wasn't there. I commented the other day and said it looks fantastic, I love the colours, the flowers and look at the expression on his face. The frame looks perfect too. 😊so have you decided which one you will make next.?😊💕💕
