My daughter chose and bought the wool over this summer, to make a pattern she had previously picked. Can't say it was my favourite knit, wool very harsh, pattern a little boring and for an easy knit some odd ways of doing things...why cast off back neck to then pick the stitches up when you could pop onto a stitch holder for example. Buttons from a brocante shop in my local town, she has a stash of vintage buttons. I reversed the front shapings to girls way round and added the butterflies to make it more girly.
