'Woody' from Toy Story

Got a request for 'Woody' from Toy Story! Could I find a pattern - No! Crochet - no problem but knitting patterns, non-existant. In the end I adapted a Cowboy pattern I found on Etsy. Great way to use up those leftover wools too as I only needed a bit of this & that. I did use a metallic Rico Ricorumi thread in gold to create the spurs, belt buckle and Sheriff's badge (horrible to work with but looks great). Not entirely happy with it as the nose needed to be pointier and his mouth a bit wider, but best I could do really. Note to all you pattern makers out there - There are no knitting patterns for these toys, at all! Someone should get the permissions needed because I can't crochet!

He’s fantastic, well done. I agree no patterns for these characters other than crochet. I’ve been looking for years and I haven’t had the courage or the time to adapt other patterns. Maybe one day

Another great character. His shirt reminds me of when I made Rupert Bear and his check trousers. I still have nightmares about doing those checks! 😂
You've made a great job of Woody. I found the same, far more crochet patterns for well known toys than knitting patterns. My great grandson loves Woody.
