Chevronella pattern
I made two jackets for myself a few years ago and I often get asked for the pattern. The navy blue /purples one is Aran weight yarns and the green is 4 ply. The Aran weight is the one I reckon is most useful, so I am writing the pattern for that thickness yarn. It is really a handy pattern for using up bits of leftover yarn that wouldn't be enough for making a large garment – you can use doubled 4ply sock yarn for instance : ) They don't need to be matching yarns as no stripe is wider than 4 rows and differences are accommodated. The one I am making now is a small size for a friend – I have many different yarns in this one and it's working out well. Finished and my friend loves it : ) I'm still working on the pattern for 5 sizes.
