I wanted to make something special for my little boy who I have been waiting a long time for. He is just 3 months old and I am planning on him wearing this later this year. If it turns out good then I will make another in baby blue. Update - this is now all sewn together and the buttons are temporarily sewn on. I am pleased with how it looks for my 2nd project :)

Great work Claire, your little boy will look fab, you must be very proud to have made him this special sweater! I love this yarn, and it would look good in blue if you can find time to knit now that he’s growing up!
