My friends had chosen an elephant theme for their nursery and I wanted to make them something unisex with that theme for their baby shower. I used around 3x50g balls of elann off-white superwash merino wool (A-series DK04, now discontinued) I had in my stash and purchased 3x50g balls of Rico Multi Baby Dream DK in multicolour (shade 04). I liked the Just Be Crafty circle to square crochet blanket pattern so started with that as a base. I made some circles/squares white and attached little crochet elephants (pattern from Repeat Crafter Me). I had some of the colourful yarn leftover so knit a matching hat (from the Sirdar pattern) and some mittens.
