My Mum taught me to knit when I was about 6 years old. I then proceeded to knit clothes for my dolls. Knitted for myself and my children when they were young but then as many of you have said life gets in the way and my needles stayed in a dark cupboard for many years. I now have grandchildren and young nieces so have started to knit again. It's a bit like riding a bike, you don't forget, you're just a little wobbly to start with 😀 I pick my needles up when I can but still work full time so projects do take a while to complete. I usually have a couple on the go at one time. A TV project and a concentration project. I then put off the sewing up as I don't really enjoy this part and I think it makes or breaks a garment.
