This cardigan is both practical and classical and would be suitable for everyday wear. Cardigan is worked in a simple all over pattern, in one piece from the bottom up to armholes, then divided for Fronts and Back. Left Front is worked next, then Back and lastly the Right Front. Sleeves are worked separately. Left and Right Front bands are worked separately then joined at centre back and seamed to front opening and back neck edge. Seaming is required. Pattern comes with a schematic and chart for all over pattern. Suitable yarns: Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine 170 (Colour Hellgrau Meliert (00090) Lana Grosia Meilenweit 50 -- 210 m per 50g ball Pattern comes in the following sizes 0-6 months -- 6-12 months -- 12-18 months -- 2 years -- 4 years -- 6 years -- 8 years -- 10 years

I love the way you describe the patterns you make. I often feel that there is not enough description about the process (i.e. 'sleeves are worked separately' or 'this pattern is worked in one piece') when I choose what patterns to buy. I wish all designers would be as helpful!
Vera, a beautiful little jacket, especially the shawl collar. Have added this to my pattern stash as I know a little boy who would look amazing in this.
