This year I decided to try and use up some of my stash, and make some things for Christmas. My daughter has a collection of the daft things I make, and I also wanted to give some to my favourite charity. A couple of the things were from magazine kits, and others made with patterns from Women's Weekly. One of the patterns is over 30 years old! The scarves in tinsel yarn were just garter stitch and the crochet one was made with a pattern from a book called Crochet in No time.
