My son loves cuddly toys of all shapes and sizes, I made him a small elephant last year (which is often mistaken for an anteater - enough said about that) but I found this pattern and thought the octopus looked wonderful, so did my son. Little did I know that I would have to knit on DPN's, a whole new world for me, and that only four legs was not an option :-)
