Lacy Matinee Jacket
I really liked the colour of this wool (Drops Baby Merino, colour ‘Powder’), and it was too fine for the previous little jacket I made so I found this Sirdar pattern and it knitted up perfectly. The only thing was I don’t like having to set in sleeves into baby cardigans as I find the seams are always very bulky. Otherwise I’m very pleased with it. I even had the perfect buttons in my stash.

Very pretty, it is a lovely pattern. The sleeves look good not to bulky, its probably it is the finer yarn helping.

So pretty Helen! 😍 The sleeves look good, but I'm with you on the having to set in, so much so that I've gone top down cardi's only! 😆

Very pretty little matinee jacket Helen, babies always look so cute wearing them 🥰💕

Beautiful, you can’t go past the fine knit lacy jackets.

This is lovely Helen - a proper babies cardigan - love the lacy pattern. 😊

Beautiful little matinee coat. Perhaps, another time you could pick up the stitches for the sleeves and knit it down from the top? I've done this before and it looks quite neat.
