I made this hat the night before I took my mom to San Francisco, CA. She didn’t own any knit hats and if you’ve ever been to the bay in San Francisco you know it gets COLD! So, like I said, the night before we left I cast on for this hat and decided to call it the XOXO Cable Car Knit Hat because we did ride the world famous cable car while there and we loved it; plus the cable stitch looks like X’s and O’s.
