Product Description
Surprise your family and friends with a hand knit gift bag! It will add a special note to your gift. These bags are pretty and easy to make. You will need leftovers of fingering weight yarn in any 2 different colors that are to your taste.
The pattern is fully written and includes a chart for the stitch pattern. Instructions on how to make your own ribbon are included in the pattern as well.
Difficulty level: advanced beginner (working in the round on DPNs, mosaic colorwork)
Yarn: Schachenmayr Regia 4-ply (75% wool, 25% nylon, 210m/50g; 230yds/1.76oz), 1 ball (shown in gray) and H&W Comfort Sockenwolle Color (75% wool, 25% nylon, 420m/100g; 459yds/3.53oz), 1 ball (shown in pink). Sample used 71m (78yds) of gray and 21m (23yds) of pink. Any fingering weight yarn leftovers will work for the pattern.
Needles: 2.5mm/US 1 1/2 set of 5 DPNs
Notions: yarn needle, a ribbon to thread through (optional, if you don’t want to make your own)
Gauge: 32 stitches/39 rows in stitch pattern = 10cm/4in.
