There's nothing too complicated here - a straightforward ripple pattern, a little bit of linen stitch, and some ribbing to round things out. Enough going on to keep the knitting interesting, while still working up quickly. And the different stitch patterns serve another purpose: they blend the colors in hand-painted yarns in different ways, showing off the full beauty of short-to-medium color repeats (about 2-6" per color, though longer repeats and solid colors would also look lovely).
This pattern includes full written and charted instructions. Instructions are provided for the stated size, which is shawlette-sized for an adult (and would also make a perfectly sized shawl for a child).
