Willow & Lark Heath Solids

I was going away so concerned that the package arrived at earliest time and was securely wrapped against wet or slug damage if delayed. Neither happened: it arrived swiftly and was well protected. The goods are of good quality too.

Lovely wool for little grandsons cable cardigan. Have used before and was a successful choice. The navy is not as dark as expected but is a good rich blue.

I like the loft of this yarn as it’s worked up. It’s made a very “cushy” fabric. It could have a slightly softer feel to it, but I’ll trade that for the heft and loftiness. Very nice to work with. I’ll be buying more. The color is vibrant (note: it did not photograph true-pictured product is peacock blue, not a sage green.). I made three of these sets for Christmas presents, and my next order will be to make one for myself.

I selected this yarn for the fact that it wasn't 100% wool and now that the garment is finished, I am delighted with the results, but I've yet to wear it and more importantly wash it. The last time I knitted up this retro pattern, designed for cotton, I eventually ended up machine washing it. Mistake. I'm so much more hopeful for my new cardie. It also looks just like pure wool.

I like it a lot! This was one of my first times using a wool blend, I haven’t washed what I made with it yet (mostly because it’s not finished lol) but it has a nice feel to it - not to scratchy at all. It’s got a nice soft and structured look to it. If you’re considering buying you should totally go for it :)

This wool is super, soft and squishy and a beautiful neutral colour. I bought enough to make a simple cardigan for my grand-daughter.
