Product Description
Introducing What the Moon Sees – a shrug for the warm weather, over the shoulders and opened in front, just enough coverage on a cool summer night. Named for my school boy’s poetry lesson, its Pique Diamonds stitch pattern sparkles like the stars. This 12-stitch by 12-row repeat of simple knits and purls is easy to remember, meditative. The bodice is worked bottom-up and flat to the armholes where it splits, and fronts and back are worked separately, finally joining at the shoulders. Shaped sleeves are worked bottom-up too and in-the-round. This design is mostly seamless except for sleeves that are set-in. Garter stitch trims its hems and centers from stitches picked up along its edges. Enjoy!
12 page pdf includes pattern instructions, photographs, schematics, tutorial links, a full sheet of charted Pique Diamonds repeats for plotting sts during shaping, and definitions for relevant abbreviations.
