Construction Method and Techniques

The sweater is constructed entirely in the round using a top-down approach, beginning with the neckline. The yoke features strategic increase rounds for the shoulders, followed by alternating sections of lace pattern and stockinette stitch that create visual interest while maintaining structure. The body is worked continuously in the round, eliminating the need for seaming.

Sleeves are integrated seamlessly by moving sleeve stitches onto the main needle and picking up and knitting underarm stitches as you progress, ensuring a smooth transition from yoke to sleeve. This technique maintains the continuous circular knitting method throughout the entire garment.
