Product Description
I got several requests for a unicorn beanie. And this is the result.
As usual it can be knit from 4-ply sock yarn of any manufacturer. I used Wollbutt söckli, which might not be available where you live. But that is not important :-) You can also use Acrylic yarn of similar weight. For bigger sizes you can also use 5-ply yarn.
You need about 35 g of each color.
It has my typical corrugated dotted ribbing, a herringbone edge, followed by a starry border pattern which surrounds the beautiful band of big unicorns. The upper part of the beanie shows 7 prancing little unicorns.
For bigger sizes or a more slouchy fit you can also use 5-ply yarn and or a bigger needle size.
As it has only two colors throughout the whole hat, it is also suitable for stranded knitting beginners because it is easier to knit than a project with many color changes.
Enjoy and happy knitting!
