Twisty Trousers

These baby pants were inspired by my favorite cardigan and are knitted entirely in cables. This intermediate-level pattern is written for those who already have a firm grasp of knitting basics, including basic cable techniques, Kitchener stitch, and short rows in the round. Because it is intended for use over cloth diapers, it includes short row shaping in the back to increase the back rise, as well as a wide crotch to allow for a better fit over cloth diapers.
