Will My Tulip Guard Work?

Every spring, I eagerly await my tulips’ bloom—only to find them eaten by deer just before they open.

I read that hanging something white in trees might deter deer by mimicking a warning signal. So this year, I’m trying something new: a crocheted deer tail. My hope? That it keeps the deer away long enough for me to finally enjoy my tulips in full bloom.
