Trees and moon hat

Trees and Moon hat reminds me of my times in the forests. After a hot day, the pine needles covering the ground produce and amazing aroma. This lasts into the evening as you come back to camp and, sometimes, the moon is visible....and if the day is right you are under a full moon.

This is a pattern for a stranded knit hat. The hat is knit from the bottom up and in the round. The gauge, in Malabrigo Worsted, knit in the round is 20 sts in stockinette on 4.5 mm needles. The sample is shown knit with MC- Malabrigo Merino Worsted (blue surf, rich chocolate), CC4 - Manos del Uruguay Maxima (cotton candy), and CC1 to 3- Knit Picks Wool of the Andes (forest heather, cloud) approx yardage- MC 50g, CC4 50g, CC1/2/3 15g
