Product Description
The “Topple sweater” with short sleeves and dropped shoulders as shown here is knitted flat and in the round. Of course you can add extra length in both the body and the sleeves as you like.
There is no shaping, so it’s pretty easy to knit with two beautiful lace sections, a double lace around the bottom border and a single lace pattern around the sleeve edges. The rest is done in easy going stockinette and garter stitches.
The pattern is both, fully written and includes two lace charts.
Bust sizes range from 36/38/40/42/44/46/48/50” and an 18” to 20” positive ease worked right in.
Yarn: 400 yards/115 grams a skein in a fingering weight. Two skeins needed, for longer sleeves in sizes 46 to 50, more yarn will be needed.
Notions needed
Two US size 8 (5 mm) circular needles. One 16” (42 cm) long for the sleeves, and one 36” (91 cm) in length for the body.
13 Stitch markers, lockable ones work for the finishing part.
Tapestry needle for finishing.
