A garter stitch afghan or baby blanket with cables that are tilted to run diagonally across the blanket. Knit in squishy warm garter stitch in a soft yarn, this piece features cables that use Lily Chin’s reversible cables technique, so the blanket will look exactly the same on both sides. An I-cord border in a contrast color makes it pop. (Beginners can skip the i-cord).
It is easy yet a bit of a challenge for the fearless knitter.
