Product Description
The Real M was created due to a mistake: I was knitting another hat while watching a football match in which The Real Madrid was doing really great! I got so distracted that, well… another knitting stitch was born. So here you have the result! The Real M can be read in two senses: The Real Madrid or The real mistake. Both are definitely true!
Size
Adult; to fit an average-sized woman’s head (20-22 inches; 51-56 cm). Length from brim to top: 9 inches (23 cm). Shown in a 22-inch/56 cm head circumference.
Yarn
Manos del Uruguay Franca (100 % superwash merino) – 1 skein (150 g/114 yds). Sample shown in colorway Corderito.
Needles and other notions
US 11 (8 mm) 16-inch (40 cm) circular needles and US 11 (8 mm) double pointed needles *(these are optional to work the crown).*US 10,5 (6,5 mm) 16-inch (40 cm) circular needles. Stitch marker, tapestry needle. A faux fur pom pom is optional.
Gauge
12 stitches x 20 rounds over 4 inch./10 cm in Slip-stitch worked in the round with larger needles.
